At the Lion Mound Hamlet, three tavern-restaurants, Le Bivouac de l’Empereur, Le Cambronne and Le Wellington all offer traditional fare in a warm, welcoming setting.
Le Bivouac de l'Empereur
You will find the spirit of the Napoleonic taverns in this building constructed shortly after the battle and which was the first hotel on the site. The heart of the tavern and the current restaurant were built in the 1950s in the style of a period farm with materials recovered on the battlefield.
This true country inn offers traditional Belgian cuisine with a wide selection of Trappist and other beers brewed in monasteries
There is also a garden and a terrace.
Le Cambronne
This Belgian tavern full of rustic charm welcomes you at any time of day for a light snack or refreshing drink.
Le Wellington Café
A convivial atmosphere and a pleasant terrace will allow you to relax - it’s as simple as that !
