At the Visitors’ Centre, an audiovisual presentation shows the sequence of events on 18th June 1815. It makes use of modern educational and technological tools to make these events accessible to all.

A large scale-model of 10 m² represents the space in which the different army corps were deployed. During the show, this model lights up and moves according to the advance of the troops.

The sound and light effects locate the forces involved in combat, the strategic places and main phases of the battle, both hour-by-hour and stage by stage, the development of the battle and movements of the different armies.

Images of modern landscapes and old paintings, projected on to a big screen above the model, illustrate sites which are each pointed out or animated on the model.
