10,000 euros to reward a community for its efforts in making heritage
sites more accessible to young people.
Every year the Fondation Culturespaces awards a prize to reward and encourage a community that is running an exceptional program to make our heritage more accessible to a young audience.
We make our selection based on the following criteria:
- Relevance of the educational project
- Educational media that are innovative and adapted to children of different ages
- Implementation of policies to welcome children
- Creation of partnerships with local associations and schools
- Supervised by staff who are trained in welcoming young people and in the mediation of heritage sites
- Development of sites and provision of access to people (adults and children) with disabilities
- Transfer of experiences and good practice in this area
A selection committee composed of members of both foundations is responsible for designating the winner, based on the criteria defined above.
